LAYOUT PROJECT .
My article is about the painter and writer Percy Wyndham Lewis.
I made a trip to special collections early on in the project as i found out they had a copy of the Vortacist's "blast" manifesto which id always wanted to see due to its interesting layout and strange brash ideas.
I wanted to focus not just on the layout of the manifesto but to look at the idea they where publishing within there great paintings. In particular Percy Wyndham Lewis the mastermind behind the Vortacist Movement .

I tried making the text the 'enemy' to my eyes
Sketch drafts of more ideas. i have been using photoshop to sketch out my ideas quickly before i then bring them into indesign to finalise.
I plan to write my own (article /rant) about Wyndham lewis when i further this into a full book.
second part of project.
I WAS PUT ONTO THIS WEBSITE WHICH IS A GOOD EXAMPLE OF A PLACE THAT SELLS LIMITED PRINT RUN MAGAZINES AND BOOKS -POSSIBLE PLACE THAT MY PROJECT COULD BE AIMED AT.
At this point i have a fair few different layouts that surround my topic of Wyndham lewis. from this point on i intend to consider the other variables that effect a layout (the hardware) I guess.

I like the idea of a collectors album of something, to obsess over,to get wrapped up in. a way of sort of mapping things, categorising.
first attempt: some small pink circles to print with blast or bless to then place around the city.

at the end of the book-a reference to its ongoing nature- a list presented like the blast manifesto of this to add in the next - rebounded issue.
